The SiOC Stephan Brophy Memorial Scholarship

SIOC established a $10,000 Endowment and Student Scholarship “to promote awareness of government public information as a career option for students with a communications industry employment goal”, in the words of former President Martarano.

The scholarship is named after the late Stephan Brophy, a SiOC Board of Director’s Secretary, and is available to students at CSU Sacramento.

Qualifications include demonstrating financial need, having junior or senior standing, earning a major gpa of 3.0, cumulative gpa of 2.0 and full time enrollment.
